Mountain Bike Coaching Locations
Find the Right Terrain for Your Progression
SkillsLoop provides professional mountain bike coaching for riders travelling from across the UK, with sessions delivered at Cannock Chase and carefully selected riding locations.
Each venue is chosen around the skills being coached — from foundations and cornering to jumps, drops and technical terrain.
Check Your Course Location Before Travelling
Your coaching location can vary depending on the course you have booked.
Always check your booking confirmation and joining information before travelling. If you're unsure where your session is taking place, please contact SkillsLoop before setting off.

Other Coaching Locations
Some private, bespoke and specialist sessions may use other suitable mountain bike locations depending on the rider, terrain required and course objectives.
If another venue would provide a better coaching environment for the skill being taught, we'll discuss that with you before your session.
Why We Use Different Locations
Different mountain bike skills need different terrain.
Rather than trying to teach every technique at the same venue, SkillsLoop uses locations that give riders the right environment for the session.
Foundations & Confidence
Progressive trails and controlled terrain help riders develop body position, braking, bike control and confidence before increasing difficulty.
Cornering
Suitable flat corners and berms allow riders to work on vision, body position, grip and bike separation.
Jumps & Drops
Purpose-built features allow techniques to be developed progressively rather than forcing riders straight onto larger obstacles.
Steep & Technical Riding
More challenging terrain gives experienced riders the opportunity to work on line choice, control and technique in realistic trail situations.
Coaching for Riders Travelling from Across the UK
SkillsLoop is based at Cannock Chase, but riders travel to our coaching sessions from different parts of the UK.
We focus on delivering specialist mountain bike coaching at proven riding locations, with terrain that supports the skills being taught.
The location supports the coaching — it doesn't define the rider.
Whether you're travelling from elsewhere in the Midlands or further across the UK, the session is built around your progression once you arrive.
Private & Bespoke MTB Coaching
Booking private coaching gives us more flexibility to match the terrain to what you actually want to improve.
If you already know your goals, we can recommend a venue that gives us the best environment to work on them.
If you're unsure what is holding your riding back, that's fine too. We can assess your riding and help determine the most useful areas to focus on.
